We are undergoing a profound transformation. With our Group sustainability strategy regenerate+, we have created a management framework for environmental, social and business topics. It defines key areas of action, metrics and reporting processes and supports us in presenting progress transparently.

regenerate+ provides the foundation for our future. It helps us make our contribution measurable and traceable through clear metrics, based on a holistic approach across four dimensions: Nature, Our People, Society and Business.

The Four Sustainability Dimensions

Nature:

As a manufacturing company, we are connected to nature in many ways, along the entire value chain, from raw material extraction and production through to the use and recycling of our vehicles. Within the Nature dimension, we focus on three areas of action: decarbonization, circular economy, and biodiversity and ecosystems.

Our approach:

  • Decarbonization: We are advancing decarbonization along the value chain.
  • Circular Economy: We focus on circular economy and recycled materials.
  • Ecosystems and Biodiversity: We implement measures to promote biodiversity and ecosystems within and beyond the value chain.

We pursue the goal of a diverse, inclusive and non-discriminatory corporate culture. Remuneration and working conditions are governed by the applicable legal, collective bargaining and company regulations. In addition, we invest extensively in the training, safety and health of our employees.

Our approach:

  • Culture: We foster a diverse, inclusive and non-discriminatory culture.
  • Workforce: We actively support our employees and teams through the transformation.
  • Occupational Safety and Health Prevention: We are committed to a holistic approach to occupational safety and health.

The holistic approach of regenerate+ provides the foundation for us to further develop environmental and social topics together with partners and stakeholders.

Our approach:

  • Supply Chain: We shape responsible supply chains.
  • Stakeholders: We are a trusted partner.
  • Societal Impact: We bring together our social engagement activities.

We continue to advance our business model through the holistic approach of regenerate+. New business areas, products, services and financing models provide momentum and support our transformation. When aligning our business activities, we take into account the requirements and feedback of investors as well as insights from relevant ratings.

Our approach:

  • Revenue: We develop and promote business areas related to electric mobility, charging solutions and emission-reduction technologies.
  • Financing: We use green bonds and financing instruments within the framework of the EU Taxonomy.

The specified fuel consumption and emission data does not refer to a single vehicle and is not part of the offer but is only intended for comparison between different types of vehicles. Additional equipment and accessories (additional components, tyre formats, etc.) can alter relevant vehicle parameters such as weight, rolling resistance and aerodynamics, affecting the vehicle's fuel consumption, power consumption, CO₂ emissions and driving performance values in addition to weather and traffic conditions and individual driving behavior. Further information on official fuel consumption data and official specific CO₂ emissions for new passenger cars can be found in the "Guide to fuel economy, CO₂ emissions and power consumption for new passenger car models", which is available free of charge from all sales dealerships and from DAT Deutsche Automobil Treuhand GmbH, Hellmuth-Hirth-Str. 1, D-73760 Ostfildern, Germany and at www.dat.de/co2.
