Volkswagen Group donates one million euros as emergency aid for flood victims in Valencia

Wolfsburg. Volkswagen Group is donating one million euros in emergency aid for people affected by the severe storms in Spain. The donation will be used directly for relief efforts in Valencia. The region has suffered numerous fatalities in recent days and the extent of the damage is considerable. The money is being donated to the German Red Cross (DRK). The aid organization will pass the donation on to the Spanish Red Cross, which is providing funds for the support of the victims and is working for the reconstruction on the ground.
